Your camera bag is about to feel a whole lot lighter. FUJIFILM India has just unveiled the Fujifilm GFX100RF. This isn't just any new camera; it's the debut of the first fixed-lens digital camera in Fujifilm's GFX Series, and at approximately 735g, it's also the lightest in the GFX Series to date.

Under the hood, the GFX100RF packs a powerful 102-megapixel high-speed 'GFX 102MP CMOS II' sensor and the latest 'X-Processor 5' image processing engine. It comes with a newly developed fixed 35mm F4 lens (equivalent to 28mm in 35mm format). For focusing, it features the latest AI-based subject detection AF, along with evolved AF prediction and face/eye detection AF. Video recording also benefits from enhanced tracking AF with touch operation.
The GFX100RF redefines usability with a few notable firsts. It's the first in the GFX series to feature an 'Aspect Ratio Dial', letting you switch between nine versatile shooting formats, including newly added 3:4 and 17:6 ratios. The camera sports a precision-machined aluminium top plate, a first for Fujifilm's digital cameras. There's also a digital teleconverter lever for quick angle-of-view selection and a new 3.15-inch, 2.1 million-dot, two-axis tilt LCD monitor with an optimised user interface. You'll find a 0.84x magnification and 5.76 million-dot high-resolution EVF.

For video creators, it supports smooth 4K/30P 4:2:2 10-bit recording, includes 'F-Log2' for rich gradation, and is compatible with the Frame.io Camera to Cloud service. Additional features include a built-in 4-stop ND filter (a GFX Series first), a leaf shutter for flexible flash photography, and the ability to focus as close as 20 cm.
The FUJIFILM GFX100RF will be available in key markets starting at Rs 5,49,999.
