Titan Edge Mechanical Second Collection bring three new timepieces

Since good hand-wound watches are in slim pickings these days

While smartwatches like the Apple Watch Series 8 and the Realme Watch 3 seem to be making their way to the Indian market, we can’t forget to appreciate the beauty of a good mechanical watch, especially when it has the complexities and design of Titan itself. This Titan Edge Mechanical collection are of the slimmest watches out there. While it is no Richard Mille RM UP-01 Ferrari in thickness, it does have a lot to appreciate.

First up we have the Titan Edge Caliber 903, featuring well-crafted movement with 106 delicately machined metal parts carefully configured to create this timepiece. With a 2.2 mm thickness, the movement is extremely slim making use of 8 jewels to reduce the friction between moving parts. The wrist piece packs in a 42-hour power reserve and the movement have been designed with a clear sapphire back to showcase the intricate bridge side alongside a stylized window on the dial side. For a more modernized yet classic feel, the watch comes in two designs.

The Titan Edge Mechanical 1810, on the other hand, is an architectural assemblage of surgical-grade stainless steel and sapphire crystal. The sculpted metal is amplified by the creation of ‘machined’ grooves which flow into the integrated silicone straps. The rose gold hands on the dial contrast the relatively monochromatic tone of the watch.

The Titan Edge Mechanical 1811 is available in classic steel and rose gold variants. The dial sports a finely carved out valley on the rim, creating an illusion of fine serrations. This highlight sits around and is cosied on an elevated dial, to help bring a contemporary twist to a classic design. At 5.85 mm thick, the timepiece features a contoured stainless steel bezel with sculpted lugs to complement the leather band. The cherry on top of this beauty, you get a  custom-designed crown and an exposed back to add to its hand-wound persona.

You can buy the Titan Edge Mechanical Second edition collection starting at the meagre sum of ₹2,08,500 (truly meagre if you are a collector of watches).
