Vivo X80 Pro is a flagship smartphone with top-notch Zeiss-branded cameras

Stuff India’s smartphone of 2021, the Vivo X70 Pro+ has a new worthy descendant. The Vivo X80 series has arrived in India with the launch of the Vivo X80 and X80 Pro. 
The Vivo X80 Pro, as the name suggests, is the showstopper for the series. It is jam-packed with flagship features, and not surprisingly, some top-notch Zeiss-branded cameras. 
You get a 6.78in 2K AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip under the hood accompanied by 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. 
In the photography department, the X80 Pro comes with five cameras onboard. These include a 50MP primary sensor, 48MP ultra-wide sensor, 12MP portrait sensor, and an 8MP periscope-shaped ultra-telephoto lens. Up front is a 32MP selfie snapper nestled in a punch-hole. 
The X80 Pro is a 5G-enabled phone with IP68 rating, and is backed by a 4,700mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. On the software front, it runs Android 12-based FunTouch 12 UI. For security, there’s an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor on board.
Needless to say, all this comes at a premium, as the Vivo X80 Pro is priced at ₹79,999. Vivo has also launched a slightly toned-down standard X80 smartphone. Prices for this variant start from ₹54,999 and go up to ₹59,999.
