TV of the year 2024:LG OLED Evo AI G4 65

The LG OLED G4 doesn’t just set the bar—it obliterates it. With a stunning 65-inch 4K OLED evo panel, this TV brings unmatched picture quality, blending inky blacks, dazzling brightness, and colors so vibrant they practically leap off the screen. Thanks to the a9 AI Processor Gen6, every scene is optimized to perfection, whether you’re watching a blockbuster, diving into a nature doc, or binging your favorite series. The One Wall design is the definition of chic, sitting flush against the wall and doubling as a show-stopping centerpiece when it’s not playing content. Gamers, brace yourselves: with HDMI 2.1, a 120Hz refresh rate, VRR, and ALLM, it’s a high octane gaming machine that keeps pace with your skills. Plus, Dolby Vision and Atmos ensure every sound and visual is theater-worthy. Whether you’re a cinephile, a gamer, or just love cutting-edge tech, the G4 isn’t just a TV—it’s the ultimate entertainment upgrade.

Projector of the year 2024: Benq W5800

No one tells you that staying true to the “filmmakers intent” is an expensive affair. But BenQ has been chipping away at affordable accuracy for awhile now. The BenQ W5800 is the top-of-the-line home cinema contender that is ready for a bout. BenQ’s out-of-the-box colour calibration is the stuff of legends and it suffices for all but the most demanding of Nolan fans. But if you do want to unlock secret corners of The Dark Knight, the W5800 does provide a comprehensive advanced menu. The W5800 can do up to 200in, but its sweet spot is around 130in where it excels at luminance, contrast and colour saturation. It’s the most fun we’ve had with a projector this year.

Monitor of the year 2024: Asus Rog Swift PG27AQDM

The Asus ROG Swift PG27AQDM is the best OLED monitor we’ve seen all year, and it totally deserves our Stuff Gadget award. The 27-inch display is absolutely stunning, with bright colours, super deep blacks, and a crazy-fast 240Hz refresh rate. Whether you’re gaming or creating content, this monitor is awesome and super responsive. The colours on the ROG Swift PG27AQDM are spot-on, and the design is sleek and modern - it’ll look great anywhere. You can adjust the stand to find the perfect viewing angle, and the RGB lighting adds a cool, personalized touch. However, the MLA panel that brings better light scattering and the custom heatsink that allows the monitor to reach higher brightness than most monitors has to be its crowning feature.
