Top 8 Air Purifiers you need this Diwali

This Diwali, kill the pollutants before they kill you!

Diwali is about all things pretty and sparkling, from our homes to beautiful festive attires for long-extended rituals and gatherings. We do a lot of preparation to make the day perfect but behind all the glitz and glamour there is one thing we forget to think about. Wondering what? The air pollution that follows the festival. The impact is far worse in parts of North India where AQI often reaches the end of the scale. Sometimes, in Delhi, it even reaches the ‘hazardous’ category on the weather app. The outdoors become hazy and so dense that even sunlight hardly penetrates. Yikes!

What can we do? First of all vow to not buy and burn crackers, teach your kids the best way to celebrate the festival i.e eat, get dressed, meet family and be generous! And, since we’re all about tech, we won’t start a TedTalk here so then how about we recommend the best air purifier? We have compiled a list of some of the best air purifiers that are available in the market.

Hyundai Ioniq (not for sale)

This is more of a bonus product, even to the creators! In the process of developing a new car,  among the hundreds of prototypes and pre-production models, Hyundai decided to revive one prototype, albeit in a different avatar.

By stripping an Ioniq 5 model to its bones, and using as many of the components to birth a large air purifier. The cylindrical housing itself is larger than the car’s 20in alloy wheel. The purifier’s body is made using the car’s doors and hood and the cabin air filter and cooling fan form the heart of the purification system. The car’s pixelated LED tail lamps have been used too, on the sides to add a bit of charisma to the machine.
