Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids’ tablets and Echo Pop Kids aim to make your tiny tots smarter

It's a kid-friendly tech fiesta!

Let’s dive into Amazon's playground of goodies for the little ones! They've just unwrapped two brand-new 10-inch Fire tablets designed with kids in mind.

First up, we've got the Fire HD 10 Kids, a tablet that's tailor-made for the children aged 3 to 7. Then, there's the Fire HD 10 Kids Pro, geared towards the 6 to 12-year-olds. Both of these tablets are up for grabs at $190 (approx ₹ 15,776).

Both of these models are upgraded versions of the Fire HD 10. The devices sport a 10.1-inch, 1080p (full HD) screen, 3GB of RAM, and 5MP cameras and provide 13 hours of battery life. Amazon says they're also lighter and 25% faster than their predecessor, the 2021 Fire HD 10. As with all Fire Kids tablets, they come with snug padded cases and a 12-month subscription to Amazon Kids Plus service.

Amazon is spicing up the fun for the little ones with a couple of new additions — first up, there's Music Maker coming soon to Amazon Kids+ on Fire Kids tablets. It's a playground where kids can step into the shoes of composers. They get to pick different instruments and add cool sound effects to whip up their very own musical masterpiece.

Amazon is bringing ten new Play Together games to Amazon Kids+ also to their Fire Kids tablets. These include classics like Checkers and Memory Match. These games are designed for kids and grown-ups to play together. Kids can fire up the game on their Fire Kids tablets and invite adults to join in, whether they're across the room or across the country on their mobile devices.

Lastly, Amazon is turning up the fun with the new Echo Pop Kids, which are smaller versions of the Echo devices. These cute gadgets come in two designs — Marvel's Avengers and Disney Princess, complete with matching character themes. When you get one of these Echo Pop Kids, you'll also score six months of access to the Amazon Kids+ subscription service. The Echo Pop Kids is priced at $50.
