Audio-Technica’s streaming headsets bring big quality for big money

Bringing your post-match roast game to HD levels

Everyone wants to be an internet celebrity, and Sharmaji and his son have already beat you to it. Well, at least you can cherry-pick some of the best streaming equipment to aid your online claim to fame. That is where Audio-Technica's new ATH-M50xSTS and ATH-M50xSTS-USB streaming headsets come into play (gaze upon the pun).

The headphones are based on the revered ATH-M50x professional monitor headphones giving you sound detailed enough that you can hear every footstep in Hello Neighbour. The 45mm large-aperture drivers should bring clarity and bass. The ear muffs are comfortable and have a slight mesh to improve breathability and are designed to have enhanced sound isolation.

There’s a cardioid condenser capsule on the bendy microphone arm that captures your voice consistently even when you move your head. The microphone will also filter out background noise and you can easily mute your microphone by folding the microphone arm up.

When it comes to the ATH-M50xSTS it comes with a 2-meter-long permanently attached cable with a 3.5mm headphone jack and XLR microphone connector allowing easy connection to audio interfaces or mixers.

The ATH-M50xSTS-USB, however, comes with an A/D converter with up to 24-bit/96 kHz sampling rate giving you high-resolution audio, Sidetone circuitry that allows you to hear your beautiful voice and comes with a 2-meter permanently attached cable featuring a USB-A connection with a USB-C adapter for ease of connectivity with PCs and Macs. The  ATH-M50xSTS and the ATH-M50xSTS-USB are priced at ₹31,270 and ₹35,990.
