First look at Google Pixel Fold

Look who's finally joining the foldable phone party!

Google has decided to whip out its highly-anticipated Pixel Fold and show us what it's made of. I mean, come on, how could they resist? Everyone else is rocking a foldable these days, and Google doesn't want to be left behind like a flip phone in the smartphone world.

The first look was revealed via a teaser video posted on Twitter. While they kept mum about the phone's juicy specs, they did give us a glimpse of what it looks like. The Pixel Fold features a full outer display that opens up to reveal a larger inner display. Rumour has it that the inner display measures around 7.69in, while the outer display comes in at 5.79in.

We also got a glimpse of the Pixel Fold's rear camera bump and it's giving us some serious déjà vu. It looks similar to other Pixel phones, but we're still in the dark about the exact setup. The phone in the video is shown in a light colour option, but we have high hopes that there will also be a black or grey variant.

The teaser says that the phone is "coming soon” and we expect Google to show us more at Google I/O on May 10. Check out what else is to be expected at the Google I/O. Till then all we can say is, "Hello there, Pixel Fold, you look mighty fine. Don't be shy, give us some specs to drool over!"
