Google Pixel Buds Pro launched in India alongside the Pixel 6a

Keeping you happy for ears

If you are looking for a companion for your Google Pixel 6a, you don't have to look far. Google will launch the Pixel Buds Pro alongside the smartphone in India on July 28. The buds themselves are almost half the price of the phone at ₹19,990. So it’s not exactly a cheap affair. That said, the buds come with a lot to look forward to (after all, they are set to rival the AirPods Pro in performance and price).

Equipped with 11mm drivers and Active Noise Cancellation with Silent Seal, the buds adapt uniquely to fit your ear canal and maintain ear pressure while minimising unnecessary distractions (making it easier to ignore those obnoxiously loud people around you). In addition to that, Google has added a Transparency Mode too which uses the built-in mics on the buds to keep you clued into your surroundings. They even come with Google’s own six-core processor and deliver the best sound possible.

These buds are capable of processing a wider range of frequencies with lower latency to keep the audio sounding natural and in sync. With Bluetooth 5.0 Multipoint support, the Pixel Buds Pro is rated IPX4 while the case is rated IPX2 for water resistance. The case is compatible with Qi or USB-C charging and has an 11-hour battery life without ANC (7 hours with ANC) and 31 hours with the case.

The pods come with the same wireless charging case that vaguely resembles EVE from WALL-E, and is available in four colour variants – black, grey, hot pink and pastel green.
