LG 49GR85DC-B is a 49in an ultra-wide curved display for gamers

All the right curves!

If you are an avid gamer, you have probably already heard about LG's latest gaming monitor– the LG 49GR85DC-B (no that’s not Elon’s new child!). For those of you who missed it, it's a behemoth with an absolute monster of a display! This bad boy boasts a whopping 49 inches of ultra-wide screen real estate!

But the sheer size of it isn’t all! This monitor is also packing some serious firepower, with a 240Hz refresh rate, a 1ms pixel response time, and a 32:9 aspect ratio. You get a 5,120x1,440 resolution panel with support for DCI-P3. You’ll also find full DisplayHDR 1000 certification, meaning you’ll get to view content in full HDR with up to a blinding 1000 nits of brightness. That said, this UltraGear is backlit by an LCD panel, so it's not the same as the inky blacks of the OLED alternatives on the market.

It is curved, with a 1000R curvature rating, so you'll be fully immersed in your gaming experience. You won't worry about getting distracted by those pesky borders either. They are super slim, so you can focus on what's really important– winning.

But that's not all! This screen supports picture-in-picture mode, and side-by-side multitasking and even has a dedicated gaming menu for display controls. Plus, it's got AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support, an FPS counter, and a DTS-certified headphone jack. All this can be yours for a cool $1300 (₹1.06 lakh).
