Monster Hunter is branching out with a mobile-exclusive open-world RPG spinoff

Ready to hunt monsters on the go?

Capcom is joining forces with TiMi Studio, known for hits like Call of Duty: Mobile and Pokémon Unite, to create Monster Hunter Outlanders, a mobile spinoff. This open-world survival game lets you hunt alone or team up with up to four players, offering the familiar thrills of exploration, monster hunting, and crafting, all while integrating live service and social features that fit into mobile gameplay.

The first trailer for Monster Hunter Outlanders gives fans a glimpse of what’s in store, featuring an open world filled with monsters like Anjanath and Great Jagras. The game seems to include diverse biomes that players can explore, including the use of a glider reminiscent of the one in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. While there’s no official release date yet, TiMi Studio Group has confirmed plans for multiple playtests before launch.
