Ubisoft and Lucasfilm Games have teamed up to announce the launch date of Star Wars Outlaws. The highly anticipated open-world Star Wars game will be available on Xbox Series X|S consoles, PlayStation 5, Amazon Luna, and PC via Ubisoft Connect starting August 30, 2024.
The new trailer revealed more about the story. It shows the protagonist, Kay Vess, inadvertently crossing paths with the leader of a growing criminal syndicate in the Star Wars underworld. This sets off a chain of events where Kay must outsmart both the law and the outlaws to secure a better life for herself.
While the trailer doesn't reveal much gameplay, it does offer a glimpse of Vess and her partner Nix coordinating to defeat Imperial guards. Additionally, it showcases Vess engaging in parkour across rooftops, hinting at the dynamic and immersive gameplay to come. For a closer look, you can watch the trailer here.
If you subscribe to Ubisoft+ or purchase the Gold Edition or Ultimate Edition of Star Wars Outlaws you can enjoy early access up to three days before the official launch. Additionally, those who preorder the game before August 30 will receive the "Kessel Runner Bonus Pack," which includes cosmetics for Kay’s speeder and her ship, the Trailblazer. Star Wars Outlaws will be available through the Ubisoft Store and at retail for a suggested price of £59.99 (₹6328) for the base game.
