Tekken 8 makes an official appearance

Starting off strong, the State of Play opened with the reveal trailer of much anticipated Tekken 8. While the exact reveal date for the game hasn’t been shared, the trailer did reveal that we’ll be seeing more of Jin and Kazuya. And it’s coming to the PS5 so the classic’s latest chapter may be exclusively for the next-gen. Maybe?

Star Wars: Tales From the Galaxy’s Edge is a VR game

If you are looking for a reason to get the PSVR2, Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge, might just be a valid reason. The official teaser trailer was revealed, giving us a glimpse of what is in store for the future including new and several different locations, enemies, and allies in the game.

Demeo Announced for PlayStation VR2

Another PSVR 2 game — Demeo was announced. The co-operative dungeon crawling survival game allows you to complete dive into the immersive nature of this tabletop-esque world. Kind of like a Virtual Reality version of DnD, you will roll the dice and dish out cards to determine your fate.

Yakuza's Ishin spinoff game getting a western release

It’s time to enter the melting pot. Yakuza spin-off game Ishin is set to release outside Japan for the first time. It will take the form of Like a Dragon: Ishin. The game will be coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in February 2023.

Hogwarts Legacy is getting a PlayStation-exclusive quest

Well, if you are any kind of Potterhead, you are probably all amped up for Hogwarts Legacy. To sweeten the pie, Playstation will be getting some additional exclusive content. The State of Play glimpse revealed a Hogsmeade-centric quest involving a spooky shop and its creepy basement, so get your cloak of invisibility all ready.

Ironwood Studios announced its First Title - Pacific Drive

Ironwood Studios' first game has officially been announced and it has been dubbed Pacific Drive. You will be put behind the wheel to drive around what appears to be a post-apocalyptic version of the Pacific Northwest, so brush up those car control skills, who knows when you may need them?

PlayStation Stars loyalty program to start rolling out this month

If you recall, Playstation announced a new loyalty program a while back. The time has finally come for the free PlayStation Stars loyalty programme to start rolling out. Sony also shared the first look at some of the items that will be available within the programme, as well as the timeline for when you can try to collect them yourself.

Synduality is the latest game from Bandai Namco

Bandai Namco has announced its latest game – Synduality. A third-person shooter featuring mechs and an art-style reminiscent of Nier: Automata, although it's definitely more upbeat when it comes to the colour palette of choice. The trailer showed off bits of the game in action and provided a 2023 release window.

Project Eve renamed Stellar Blade, Coming Next Year

Korean studio Shift Up revealed a fancy-looking action game – Project Eve earlier last year. Well, the game has reemerged and this time it dons the title of Stelar Blade. The trailer showed off a combination of gameplay and cinematics, giving players a look at the game's futuristic setting and storyline.

Nioh developer announces Rise of the Ronin, an open-world samurai game

Nioh developer Team Ninja has just announced an open-world samurai game named Rise of the Ronin. It will be available exclusively on PlayStation 5 console with a 2024 release window. The trailer portrayed sneak peeks into the gorgeous world set during Japan’s modernisation period.

God of War Ragnarok gets a new trailer, Limited Edition DualSense

The State of Play closed with a trailer for God of War Ragnarok, an icy new game that flaunted its new gameplay and cinematics. You can preorder the Nordic Battle game on November 9th, available on PS4 and PS5.

There will also be a limited edition DualSense controller released alongside the game.
