HTC Vive’s Focus 3 VR headset boasts 5K resolution and a 120-degree field of view

Get your virtual groove on!

HTC Vive's got a new toy for all you business-savvy VR enthusiasts out there! Check out the Vive Focus 3 that brings you 5K resolution and a wide 120-degree field of view.

It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Platform. Vive says its CPU and GPU performance will leave its predecessor in the dust. And the AI processing is also 11 times better, they claim. The device is equipped with an AI-powered inside-out tracking algorithm. What does that mean? It means precise tracking of your movements. No need to worry about your tracking data falling into the wrong hands because it's stored all safe and sound in an encrypted format right on the headset.

The Vive Focus 3 looks pretty cool and comfy with a new strap design, balanced weight distribution. And it has a quick-release button and removable magnetic front and rear face gaskets - so it’s quick and effortless to swap in replacements or clean them.

Now, let's talk about sound. The Vive Focus 3 got open-back speakers with dual drivers. And they're contact-free, so you can stay aware of your surroundings while still diving into virtual reality.

Oh, and here's a nifty feature for all you privacy-conscious folks out there. In VR meetings, you don't have to worry about your conversations leaking to nosy eavesdroppers. The Vive Focus 3 has an audio privacy setting that's like a virtual cone of silence. And let's not forget the redesigned controllers. These babies, the brand says, are super intuitive. They also say, these controllers are the lightest 6 degrees of freedom (6DoF) controllers you can find out there. And they'll last you a solid 15 hours on a single charge.

Last but not the least, there is a curved battery pack that you can easily swap. And if you're in a rush then quick charge will give you 50% battery juice in just 30 minutes. The HTC Vivo  Focus 3 is priced at ₹1,44,990.
