LG UltraGear OLED gaming monitors are now available in India

For some extra fun!

Following Samsung’s lead, LG too has launched its OLED gaming monitor in India. One is curved and the other is a standard affair. Starting off with the LG 45GR95QE. This curved 45-inch OLED display comes with a WQHD resolution of 3440x1440 and an ultra-wide 21:9 aspect ratio, this monitor comes with Advanced Gaming Luminance Range (AGLR) tech. The 800R curvature ups the ante on realism and banishes distortion, as per LG.

The new UltraGear series gaming monitor has a contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1 and a DCI-P3 98.5% colour gamut. HDR10 support and factory colour calibration combine forces to give you visuals that pop.

Clocking in at 240Hz refresh rate and boasting a 0.03ms GTG response time, this monitor is expected to keep up with fast-paced games. The LG 45GR95QE comes with a full suite of compatibility options – talking about Nvidia G-Sync support, HDMI 2.1 VRR (Adaptive Sync), and the power of AMD FreeSync Premium.

The LG UltraGear 45GR95QE drops for a wallet-crushing ₹2,41,000. But if you're on the lookout for a budget-friendly option (this is a lie) that doesn't skimp on the OLED goodness either, there's the LG 27GR95QE, available for ₹1,24,000.

It has a 27in QHD (2560x1440) display and boasts the AGLR tech but is not curved like the expensive sibling. There is DCI-P3 98.5% colour gamut and HDR10 support, plus its contrast ratio is enhanced by OLED Pixel Dimming that, as per LG, ensures deeper blacks and brighter whites.

The LG 27GR95QE keeps pace with its big sibling, the LG 45GR95QE, matching it toe-to-toe in terms of refresh rate and response time. Plus, it also has support for Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium.

Both variants have stands that offer a wide range of adjustments, including tilt (-5°~15°), swivel, pivot, and height adjustment (110mm). And, the monitors are wall-mountable. If want to read more about curved OLED gaming monitors, our Samsung Odyssey G8 OLED review should help you.
