Samsung Odyssey G6 OLED tackles burn-in

It’s cool like that…

Samsung just dropped the Odyssey OLED G6, a 27-inch gaming monitor that's drool-worthy for anyone who craves buttery smooth visuals and OLED's stunning contrast. This beast boasts a ridiculous 360Hz refresh rate, ensuring you never miss a frame in those fast-paced online battles. But the real game-changer here is Samsung's new OLED Safeguard+ technology. Samsung claims to have cracked the burn-in code, which is a major fear for OLED users.

Here's the deal: OLED Safeguard+ uses a fancy pulsating heat pipe to keep things cool and prevent burn-in. Plus, a souped-up cooling system and software that dims static images like logos add extra layers of protection. Basically, you can game worry-free without that annoying burn-in shadow.

There’s also a new OLED Glare Free tech to minimize reflections without messing with colour accuracy. So, say goodbye to squinting in brightly lit rooms – this monitor's got your back (and eyes). The price tag lands at a decent ₹92,399, which isn't bad considering all the bells and whistles.

The G6 goes head-to-head with the Alienware AW2723DF, a monitor I recently reviewed. Both have similar specs: 27-inch OLED panel (Alienware has a QD-OLED panel), 2560 x 1440 resolution, and a mind-blowing 360Hz refresh rate.
