WhatsApp’s new instant video messages feature lets you record and share personal videos directly in your chat window

Time to spread the love with instant video messages!

WhatsApp’s latest feature might change the way you respond in your chats! How, you ask? Well with the new instant video messages feature you can record and share short personal videos directly in your chats. It's quick, it's secure, and we hope it's gonna add a whole new level of fun to your conversations.

WhatsApp via a blog post said, “Video messages are a real-time way to respond to chats with whatever you want to say and show in 60 seconds.”  WhatsApp has also shared a couple of use cases for this feature (in case you’re wondering what its actual use). Imagine this: it's your best friend's birthday, and you want to make it extra special. Instead of just typing "Happy Birthday," you can now record a heartfelt video message or instead of just typing "LOL" in response to a lame joke, you can send an instant video message with some special curses.

Sending a video message is as easy as sending a voice message. All you gotta do is tap to switch to video mode and hold to record. If you want to go hands-free, just swipe up to lock and record your video message. Totally convenient for those moments when you need both hands for epic gestures! When you open a video message in a chat, it'll play on mute automatically. Just tap on the video, and the sound will kick in. Video messages are also protected with end-to-end encryption.

The new feature is already rolling out, and in just a few weeks, you'll be able to make your chats even more lively and personal!
