Google Pixel 7a is set to launch in India on May 11

Brace yourself

Well, well, looks like Google is teasing its latest flagship smartphone, the Pixel 7a, and India better get ready for whatever it has to offer! It's much like waiting for the arrival of a new superhero, but instead of saving the world, it'll just be your trusty sidekick in your pocket. The phone is set to debut at Google I/O 2023, and then it will hit the shelves in India on May 11.

The Pixel 7a is rumoured to have a metallic camera and a design similar to the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro. It might also come with a 6.1in Full-HD+ AMOLED display and a 90Hz refresh rate. As for the camera, it could have a 64MP rear camera and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. Don't expect any big changes in the front camera, though, as it's rumoured to stay at 8MP.

This phone is also expected to have a 4,410mAh battery, wireless charging support, and an IP67 water resistance rating. Plus, it's coming in three exclusive colours, Snow, Sea, and Coral. And the cherry on top? The Pixel 7a might cost $499 (₹40,000 approx.), a smidge more than the Pixel 6a, making it a luxury superhero sidekick. Stay tuned for more updates…
