Google Pixel Buds 2a are lightweight earbuds with ANC, powered by the Tensor A1 chip.

Alongside the Pixel 10 series and Pixel Watch 4, Google has unveiled the Pixel Buds 2a, a budget-friendly yet feature-packed addition to its audio lineup. Touted as the lightest and most compact A-Series earbuds so far, the buds look like they’re built for comfort without cutting corners. Each Pixel Buds 2a weighs 4.7g, with the case (including the buds) coming in at 47.6g. The earbuds carry an IP54 rating for sweat and water resistance, while the case is rated IPX4.

The Pixel Buds 2a come equipped with 11mm custom dynamic drivers, active noise cancellation with Silent Seal 1.5, transparency mode, and in-ear pressure relief for long listening sessions. For clearer calls, they support Bluetooth Super Wideband, feature dual microphones, and use wind-blocking mesh covers. On the control side, you get capacitive touch sensors, infrared in-ear detection, and a hall effect sensor in the case for smooth open-and-close recognition.

The Pixel Buds 2a run on the Google Tensor A1 chip with Bluetooth 5.4. Battery life hits 10 hours without ANC (27 hours with the case) and about 7 hours with ANC on (20 hours with the case). A quick 5-minute top-up inside the case gives up to 1 hour of playback with ANC, according to Google. Charging is handled via a USB-C port.
