10th Gen Apple iPad is high on looks as well as features

Not so basic, is it?

Apple just made Diwali a little more colourful with the new redesigned 10th Gen Apple iPad that comes in four finishes – Blue, Pink, Yellow and Silver! In addition to updated design and look, the new ipad has a host of new features borrowed from the brand’s premium devices.

First things first, the looks and design: the ipad comes with an all-screen design with no home-button. The 10.9in Liquid Retina design that goes up to the edges allows a larger screen area thus enhancing the viewing as well as the gaming experience. It comes with a 2360x1640-pixel resolution, 500 nits of brightness and Apple’s True Tone technology. It still has Touch ID but it has now been relocated to the power button on the top.

Under the hood, the latest generation iPad has Apple A14 Bionic chipset with 20% enhanced CPU and 10% improved GPU performance as compared to the previous generation device. The brand also promises that the new iPad comes with better machine learning capabilities by up to 80% (to be precise). Taking Apple’s word for it, everyday tasks are like child’s play for this iPad.

Moving on to the camera set-up, this is the first time that an Apple iPad got a landscape-oriented selfie lens. The 10th gen iPad features a 12MP ultrawide front camera with 122-degree field of view to support centre stage and another 12MP lens on the rear with 4K video and 240 fps slo-mo support.

The device comes with support for Wi-Fi 6, Cellular models with 5G and USB-C port for easy connection. The 10th gen iPad is priced at ₹ 44,900 for Wi-Fi models and ₹ 59,900 for Wi-Fi + Cellular models.
